Qualifications

• Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints to determine welding requirements.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine welding requirements.
• Set up welding equipment and select appropriate welding method based on material type and thickness.
• Clean and prepare metal surfaces for welding by removing rust, dirt, or debris.
• Use manual or automated welding techniques to join metal parts together.
• Inspect welded joints for quality and make necessary repairs or adjustments.
• Operate cutting equipment to trim excess metal from welded parts.
• Follow all safety procedures and wear protective gear while working.
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects within given deadlines.
