Flyper is seeking an experienced Welder to join our Al-Kuwait team. The role requires skilled manual and semi-automatic welding, reading drawings, and adhering to safety standards while preparing parts per specifications.

The ideal candidate will have strong welding skills, attention to detail, and availability to work weekends or overtime as needed. The position is based in Al-Kuwait, Kuwait.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Welder.
• Expertise in using welding tools and equipment (e.g. electric arc welders).
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings.
• Working knowledge of relative safety standards and willingness to use protective clothing.

Responsibilities

• Setting up components for welding according to specifications.
• Operate angle grinders to prepare the parts that must be welded.
• Align components using calipers, rulers etc. and clamp pieces together or hold them in place with tongs.
• Weld components using manual or semi-automatic welding equipment in various positions (vertical, horizontal or overhead).
• Repair machinery and other components by welding pieces and filling gaps.
• Inspect structures post-welding and rectify any faulty welds.
