As a Welder, you will be responsible for welding and fabricating metal components according to engineering drawings and specifications. Responsibilities

• Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
• Measure and mark materials for welding
• Set up welding equipment and select appropriate welding method
• Weld metal components using various techniques such as MIG, TIG, ARC, etc.
• Inspect completed welds for quality and accuracy
• Troubleshoot any issues with welding equipment or materials
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment
• Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Welder
• Certification in welding or relevant training preferred
• Strong knowledge of different welding techniques and equipment
• Ability to read engineering drawings and specifications accurately

Salary

The salary for this contract position is $1000 per month.
