Overview

Job Title: Welder

Location: Al-Kuwait, Kuwait

Salary: 1200 KWD/Month

Duties and responsibilities, job title, salary and benefits.

Responsibilities

• Assemble components using bolts, screws, clamps, rivets or other fasteners according to technical drawings
• Prepare materials for welding by grinding down any imperfections or sharp edges on the material surfaces
• Position the components together by using jigs or clamps prior to welding them together
• Operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment in a safe and efficient manner according to prescribed welding techniques
• Monitor the welds to ensure they meet the required standards of quality
• Inspect welds for accuracy and a complete fusion of materials prior to completion of projects

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience as a Welder
• Ability to read technical drawings and specifications
• Excellent knowledge of welding techniques and methods of metal fabrication
• Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently without supervision
• Ability to understand safety precautions in welding operations
• Physically fit with manual dexterity and good eye-hand coordination
• Good communication skills in English (or Arabic if applicable)
