Job description

We are seeking a skilled Welder to join our team in Hawalli Kuwait. As a Welder you will be responsible for performing welding processes on various metal structures and components according to specifications and industry standards. Your role will involve interpreting blueprints, determining the appropriate welding technique and equipment, and ensuring the quality of your work through visual inspections.

Key Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine welding requirements.
• Select the appropriate welding method and equipment based on the project specifications.
• Prepare materials by cleaning and cutting them as needed.
• Set up welding equipment correctly and safely.
• Perform welding tasks using various techniques such as MIG, TIG, and stick welding.
• Monitor the welding process to ensure quality standards are met.
• Conduct visual inspections of completed welds to identify any defects or imperfections.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Welder.
• Proven experience in MIG, TIG, and stick welding.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Familiarity with different types of metal and their properties.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Must be physically fit with the ability to lift heavy materials.

Salary

1300$ per month.

Location

Contract job located in Hawalli, Kuwait. Candidates from Egypt or Kenya are preferred but not required.
