Job summary

India Abroad in Al Ahmadi, Kuwait is seeking a skilled Handyman to perform repairs on residential and commercial properties under a contract arrangement. The role requires practical experience across plumbing, electrical, carpentry and painting, with emphasis on safety and quality.

Responsibilities include general repairs, troubleshooting appliances, maintaining drywall and floors, and keeping precise records. Indian nationality preferred; Hindi or Indian language skills are welcome.

Qualifications

• Indian nationality preferred.
• At least 1 year of experience as Handyman or in a similar role.
• Knowledge of basic repair techniques for plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and painting.
• Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills in Hindi or other Indian languages preferred.
• Valid drivers license is an asset but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform general repairs such as plumbing, electrical, carpentry and painting.
• Troubleshoot and fix issues with appliances and fixtures.
• Maintain and repair drywall, floors and ceilings.
• Conduct regular inspections of properties to identify maintenance needs.
• Keep accurate records of work completed and materials used.
• Communicate with clients to understand their needs and provide solutions.
• Follow all safety protocols while working on job sites.
• Work independently or as part of a team to complete projects within given deadlines.
