Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology is seeking a Transportation Lead (Southwest Asia) to direct movement control, multimodal distribution, and order fulfilment in Kuwait City. You will supervise diverse teams, ensure regulatory compliance, and coordinate air, land, and sea movements across the USCENTCOM AOR.

The role emphasizes leadership, logistics analysis, and transportation documentation with a focus on efficiency, safety, and customer service in a demanding environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma with 9+ years of related logistics experience.
• Seven+ years in logistics, transportation, distribution, movement control, or DoD operations; HAZMAT cert and TCMD processing.
• Supervisory or management experience and ability to coordinate multiple teams.
• Ability to work in austere environments and interpretations of transportation regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to CRSP teams including Line Haul, Air Coordination Cell, and Container Processing.
• Verify shipment codes, documents, and POC information; process cargo from all modes.
• Coordinate with inspectors, prepare compliance documents, and manage movement plans.
• Lead convoy operations, safety briefings, and intermodal distribution.
• Maintain LIS data and oversee purchasing, transportation, warehousing, and production control.
