Job summary

Khuff General Trading & Contracting Co. is seeking a Procurement Specialist to manage procurement activities, vendor relationships, and order fulfillment in Kuwait City. You will source suppliers, issue Purchase Orders, negotiate terms, and track deliveries within the P2P cycle.

The ideal candidate has 2–5 years of procurement experience, preferably in Oil & Gas, and is proficient with ERP systems such as Microsoft Dynamics and Odoo, plus MS Excel.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Procurement, Business Administration or a related field is preferred.
• Experience: Minimum 2-5 years of experience in procurement, purchasing or contracting, preferably within the Oil & Gas industry.
• ERP Knowledge: Proficiency in ERP systems such as Microsoft Dynamics and Odoo.
• MS Office: Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
• Negotiation Skills: Strong commercial and negotiation skills with the ability to achieve cost effective agreements.
• Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with excellent attention to detail.
• Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to coordinate effectively with internal departments and external vendors.
• Organization: Strong time management skills and the ability to handle multiple procurement activities simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Sourcing & Supplier Selection: Research and identify potential vendors, obtain and compare quotations and select reliable suppliers.
• Purchase Order Management: Review internal purchase requisitions, prepare and process Purchase Orders (POs) and monitor them throughout the procure-to-pay cycle.
• Vendor Negotiation: Negotiate pricing, payment terms, delivery schedules and other commercial conditions to achieve the best value for the company.
• Order Tracking & Expediting: Monitor outstanding orders, coordinate with suppliers and warehouse teams, follow up on deliveries and resolve issues.
• Inventory Coordination: Monitor stock requirements and coordinate with relevant departments to prevent shortages or excess inventory.
• Vendor Management: Maintain relationships with suppliers and evaluate vendor performance.
