Jumeirah Messilah Beach Hotel & Spa in Kuwait is seeking a dedicated Steward to join the Stewarding Team. The main duties include operating the dishwashing system, handling chemicals safely, and maintaining a clean work area in a luxury five‑star hotel environment.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of experience in a similar role, works well in a multicultural setting, and is prepared to join a renowned luxury hospitality group offering competitive benefits and career growth.

Responsibilities

Operate and maintain the dishwashing machine, including turning on/off and proper cleaning procedures.
Safely handle and store cleaning chemicals according to hotel policies.
Load/unload dishware and flatware and store them properly.
Maintain a clean, neat, and organized work area.
Respond promptly to accidents or safety issues and report them.
Set up and use the silver burnishing machine correctly.
Follow daily/weekly schedules for polishing silver items.

About the Job:

An opportunity has arisen for a Steward to join Stewarding Teamat Jumeirah Messilah Beach. The main duties and responsibilities of this role are:

To properly handle the dishwashing machine, including turning on and off, de-liming, changing water and adding chemicals.

To safely handle chemicals and keep them stored properly.

To load and unload dishware and flatware from the dishwashing machine and store them properly.

To ensure a clean, neat and organized work area.

To handle and report any accident immediately, no matter how minor.

To respond properly in any hotel emergency or safety situation.

To perform other tasks or projects as assigned by hotel management and staff.

To safely set up, clean and utilize the silver burnishing machine.

To safely utilize all cleaning compounds, chemicals and materials.

To follow a daily and weekly schedule of polishing all silver items in the hotel.

To clean, polish, sort and transport required silver.

About You:

Should have2-year minimum experience in same role in a five-star hotel.
Work in a multicultural environment.
