Special Needs Teacher – Primary Homeroom – Kuwait

Special needs, homeroom and elementary teacher needed for thriving school in Kuwait – August 2026. Position available in Special Needs Department – Primary Homeroom.

This department is hiring for the special education needs divisions and vocational unit, where they teach ASDAN and Edexcel‑BTEC programs. Classes mainly follow a homeroom teaching style, serving students from 6 to 21 years old.

Requirements – Special needs unit (students 6‑17 years)
  • Experience: at least 3 years of teaching experience for SEN or ELM age.
  • Education: BA in Special Education or Education in general. Preference for candidates with behavioural management training or applied behaviour analysis certification.

This bilingual school located in an affluent area close to the Kuwait towers caters for about 2 240 students from 3‑18 years of age. Most of the student population (about 90 %) are local Kuwaitis, with the remaining 10 % coming from other Arab expatriate families. The school offers an American bilingual curriculum while promoting traditional Kuwaiti traditions and heritage.
