Job summary

Halliburton in Kuwait is seeking an entry-level technician to support repairs, maintenance, calibration, and inspections of down-hole tool electronics used in Directional, RSS or M/LWD sensors. You will work under supervision to ensure safe, efficient operations and compliance with safety standards.

The role requires a technical background with electronics and mechanical aptitude. Associates degree or technical certificate is preferred, with full-time on-site work based in Ahmadi, Kuwait.

• An associate degree or higher is preferred.

Job Duties

Under strict supervision, performs repairs, preventative maintenance, calibration, and inspections on down-hole tool electronics and other equipment used in the application for down-hole tools, including Directional/ RSS or M/LWD sensors. Responsible for ensuring duties are performed in a safe, efficient, and effective manner. Areas of specialization may include: mechanical aptitude, electronics aptitude, computer skills, assembly and disassembly of tools associated with PSL equipment, or Measure while drilling and/or Logging While Drilling down-hole tools. Requires a technical school certificate, or equivalent. An associate degree or higher is preferred.
