Job Responsibilities
  • The Sous Chef will be responsible for providing support to the Head Chef in running a successful kitchen operations.
  • The role involves recipe creation and cost control as well as ensuring that all food items are prepared according to high standards of safety and hygiene.
  • The Sous Chef will also be expected to lead a team of kitchen staff, motivate them and ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
Required Qualifications
  • The ideal candidate must have at least 3 years of professional cooking experience, preferably in a fine dining setting.
  • They should have excellent knowledge of food preparation techniques, including knife skills and cooking methods used in different cuisines.
  • They should also possess strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate other staff members as well as excellent organisational skills with an eye for detail.
