Description

We are looking for a Sous Chef to join our team in Al-Kuwait. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the Head Chef in all aspects of running the kitchen, including food preparation, recipe development, ordering supplies, and more. The salary is 1100 and we are ready to consider an immigrant.

Responsibilities
  • Assist the Head Chef in all aspects of kitchen management including menu planning, food preparation, ordering supplies, etc.
  • Ensure that all recipes are followed correctly and that standards of quality are met on each dish.
  • Perform regular kitchen maintenance tasks such as cleaning equipment and restocking ingredients when necessary.
  • Supervise junior kitchen staff to ensure that they are performing their tasks correctly and efficiently.
  • Monitor food costs and wastage levels in order to maintain cost effectiveness of the kitchen operations.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Sous Chef or similar role in a professional kitchen environment
  • Excellent culinary skills with a strong knowledge of food safety regulations
  • Ability to work calmly under pressure while multitasking efficiently
  • Good organizational skills with the ability to lead others
Education & Experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent; Culinary school training or certification preferred
