Job summary

Ecojob in Al-Kuwait, Kuwait, is seeking an experienced Welder to join our team in Al-Kuwait. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of welding experience and be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

We offer a competitive salary of 1800 KWD per month, opportunities for professional development, on-the-job training, and a supportive, collaborative team. Key duties include reading blueprints, selecting welding methods, setting up components, and inspecting welds to ensure quality.

Qualifications

• At least two years of welding experience.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to take initiative and work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints and drawings and take measurements to plan layout and procedures.
• Determine the appropriate welding equipment or method based on requirements.
• Set up components for welding according to specifications (e.g. cut material with powered saws to match measurements).
• Operate angle grinders to prepare the parts that must be welded.
• Weld components using manual or semi-automatic welding equipment in various positions (vertical, horizontal or overhead).
• Repair machinery and other components by welding pieces and filling gaps.
• Inspect grooves, angles, or gap allowances, using micrometers, calipers, or steel rules.
