Job summary

Siemens Energy in Kuwait City seeks a Field Service Technician to perform technical services, calibration, and maintenance of mechanical and electrical tools and instruments in compliance with international standards. You will manage tooling portfolios, support project sites, and coordinate with vendors to ensure equipment availability and reliability.

The role requires a degree or diploma in engineering, 3–5 years of maintenance experience in power generation or oil & gas, and strong English

Responsibilities

• Perform technical services, calibration, and maintenance of mechanical and electrical tools and measuring instruments in accordance with Siemens Energy and international standards.
• Ensure project and site teams are provided with the required tools, documentation, and support while adhering to QA, safety, and regulatory requirements.
• Manage and maintain all tooling portfolio in a cost-effective manner, including performance monitoring and reporting.
• Support tooling center operations by preparing, inspecting, and deploying service tools for maintenance projects in Kuwait and international locations.
• Coordinate with external vendors for tool calibration, repairs, maintenance activities, and spare parts management to ensure equipment availability and reliability.

Your day involves performing technical services, calibration, maintenance, and quality assurance activities for service tools and measuring instruments in accordance with Siemens Energy and international standards. You will also prepare and manage tooling requirements for power plant maintenance activities while coordinating with internal and external vendors for repairs, calibrations, spare parts, and asset availability to support reliable field operations.

What You Bring

• Degree or diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or a related technical discipline.
• 3–5 years of experience in maintenance activities within the power generation or oil & gas industry.
• Willingness to work both in a Tooling Center environment and on project sites as required.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
• Proven ability to work effectively in multicultural and diverse teams.
