An Enterprise client is seeking a highly skilled SQL Designer/Developer to join their team for a 2-year project on-site in Kuwait. The ideal talent will have strong expertise in SQL Server development, ETL design, and data architecture, with proven experience in large-scale data environments.

Job Description

Responsibilities

• Data Design: Design robust, secure, and high-performing data solutions aligned with business requirements
• Database Development: Build stored procedures, views, functions, and partitions using SQL Server
• ETL Development: Develop, test, and debug ETL solutions using SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS); translate business requirements into technical solutions
• Production Support: Troubleshoot and optimize ETL jobs in production environments
• Technical Skills: Utilize .NET (C#.NET and VB.NET) to support integrations and database operations
• Database Hosting & Management: Manage online databases ensuring accessibility, reliability, and optimized performance
• MIS Maintenance: Maintain and extend Management Information System (MIS) structures with external data sources (cloud/other countries)
• Data Quality Management: Implement and enforce data quality processes and checks
• Enterprise Scheduling: Support enterprise scheduling and parameterization processes

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Information Technology or related field
• Database Systems: Hands-on experience with Microsoft SQL Server 2012+; Oracle knowledge is a plus
• ETL Tools: Strong development experience with SSIS
• Performance Tuning: Skilled in tuning large-volume data operations and table partitioning
• Data Modeling: Proficiency in data warehousing, data mining, and dimensional modeling (fact/dimension tables, surrogate keys, star/snowflake schema)
• Soft Skills: Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving abilities in high-pressure environments
• Domain Knowledge (Optional): Banking sector expertise (customers, deposits, loans, cards, wealth management)
