Job summary

Brink's Inc is seeking a Senior Operations Manager – Aviation in Kuwait to lead aviation security programs, ensure compliance with international standards, and oversee a large 24/7 team. The role focuses on strategic improvements, training delivery, and capabilities expansion across screening technologies.

The incumbent will drive best-practice implementations, manage stakeholder relationships, and ensure operational KPIs are met in a dynamic, multicultural environment.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 8-10 years of aviation security experience in an airport environment.
  • Strong knowledge of ICAO, EC, and international aviation security standards.
  • Experience in audits, compliance monitoring, and quality control.
  • Proven ability to manage large teams in a 24/7 operation.
  • Demonstrated leadership, mentoring, and staff development capabilities.
  • Strong communication, reporting, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
  • Knowledge of Arabic language is an advantage but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, development, and implementation of aviation security training programs aligned best international practices.
  • Drive continuous enhancement of aviation security operations and systems to improve efficiency and compliance.
  • Develop and implement strategic improvements in screening technologies, training methodologies, and operational performance.
  • Maintain strong relationships with all the respective stakeholders.
  • Foster a collaborative and inclusive culture across a multicultural workforce while promoting effective communication and feedback channels.
  • Ensure aviation security standards are consistently met in accordance with national and international regulations.
  • Monitor and audit training compliance.
  • Oversee delivery of operational KPIs and service quality standards.
  • Maintain accurate training records, ensure timely refresher training, and enforce adherence to SOPs and administrative policies.
  • Manage workforce allocation effectively to meet operational demands, including peak passenger traffic and emergency situations.
  • Evaluate and enhance aviation security training systems and methodologies.
  • Implement improvements in operational processes, training delivery, and compliance frameworks.
  • Introducing best practices in security technologies such as Xray screening, CT, and ETD systems.
  • Lead periodic reviews of aviation security operations and prepare comprehensive reports with actionable recommendations.

Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Initiatives
  • Lead the design, development, and implementation of aviation security training programs aligned best international practices.

  • Ensure aviation security standards are consistently met in accordance with national and international regulations.
  • Monitor and audit training compliance.
  • Oversee delivery of operational KPIs and service quality standards.
  • Maintain accurate training records, ensure timely refresher training, and enforce adherence to SOPs and administrative policies.
  • Manage workforce allocation effectively to meet operational demands, including peak passenger traffic and emergency situations.
  • Evaluate and enhance aviation security training systems and methodologies.
  • Implement improvements in operational processes, training delivery, and compliance frameworks.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Relevant and current aviation security certifications.
  • ICAO certified training instructor and aviation security audit & compliance qualifications.
  • University degree or equivalent (desirable).
  • Knowledge of Arabic language is an advantage but not mandatory.
Additional Requirements:
