Job summary

A leading oil services company in Kuwait is seeking a Senior Officer to oversee plant operations and manage warehouse activities. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in business administration, 3 years of experience in operations, and proficiency in MS Office and ERP software. Responsibilities include ensuring safety compliance, training staff, and monitoring operations to improve efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

  • 3 years of relevant experience, preferably in Oil & Gas.
  • Ability to manage flexible schedules including nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, assign, and supervise warehouse activities and shifts.
  • Manage, develop, and motivate staff and subcontractors.
  • Ensure HSE compliance and safe work practices.
  • Monitor operations and inventory accuracy.
  • Conduct inspections and handle emergencies.
  • Train employees and implement best practices.
  • Maintain accurate reports and safeguard assets.
  • Support organizational goals for efficiency.

Job description

Senior officers play a vital role overseas and coordinates plant operations, supervises shift teams, and ensures safe, efficient workflow. Responsible for hazard assessment, risk management, inspections, and smooth day/night operations. May perform specialized tasks as assigned by Asst. Manager WH or VP, Logistics & WH.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, assign, and supervise all warehouse activities and shifts.
  • Manage, develop, and motivate staff, subcontractors, and teams.
  • Ensure HSE compliance, housekeeping, and safe work practices.
  • Monitor operations: inbound/outbound, inventory accuracy, ERP transactions, and priorities.
  • Conduct inspections, record incidents/non-compliance, and handle emergencies.
  • Train employees, enforce policies, and implement operational best practices.
  • Maintain accurate reports, internal controls, and safeguard company assets.
  • Support organizational goals to improve efficiency and customer satisfaction.
  • Provide timely reports to management.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in business administration
  • Any specialized diploma or certificate course in Logistics or warehousing will be preferred
Skills & Competencies
  • 3 years of relevant experience, preferred O & G experience.
  • Proficiency with MS Office and ERP software applications etc.
  • Proven experience in Chemical Blending, production
  • Experience in managing chemicals storage and handling
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule that includes occasional nights, weekends and holidays
