Job summary

Flyper is seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer in Kuwait City to design and develop mechanical systems from concept to completion. The role demands attention to detail and the ability to work independently or in a team, delivering safe, efficient designs.

Salary is 1,700 KWD per month with immigrant visa consideration. The candidate will create technical drawings, evaluate existing systems for improvements, and conduct tests to ensure proper functionality before production runs begin.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of mechanical design/engineering experience.
• Proficiency with CAD software such as AutoCAD or SolidWorks.
• Knowledge of applicable safety standards.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as with other engineers.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop mechanical systems and components to meet safety standards.
• Evaluate existing systems for improvements or modifications.
• Create technical drawings using AutoCAD or SolidWorks.
• Test prototypes to ensure functionality before production.
• Conduct research on new materials or technologies in mechanical engineering.
• Prepare progress reports with findings, analysis and recommendations.
