Job description

Job Purpose

Performs a broad range of various work activities in related to data analysis, data modelling, dashboard, statistics as well as data preparation for raffles draw, BSC, incentives and analytics related initiatives.

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities

• Perform multiple data analysis based on CoE or business requirement using SQL or SAS based on portfolio/s assigned.
• Develop dashboards and statistical models to support the management decisions using automated reports or dashboards.
• Provide analysis based on requests submitted by business units based on agreed delivery timeline.
• Support Data Science Manager and higher management within Advance Analytics, to transform data to actionable business insights.
• Design and develop data infrastructure for real-time decision triggers system.

Educational Qualifications & Experience

• University Degree majoring in Statistics, Mathematics, Decision Science, Engineering, and Research with 3-5 years of experience in any related field
• Adequate knowledge of retail banking products & services, particularly liabilities, investments, insurance, loans, and cards.
• Experience with data extraction and preparation for developing predictive models in other banks or financial institutions.
• Experience with credit bureaus as well as cross-sell and propensity model development will be a plus
• Experience using data mining/analysis software (e.g. SAS, SQL, MS access, Excel VBA etc.).

Skills

• SQL and SAS Tools (Enterprise Miner, Enterprise Guide, Visual Analytics, Campaign Management) Good analysis & presentation skills: must have a good level of numeracy and be highly conversant with MS Excel & PowerPoint.
• Experience in project management skills are added advantage
• Adequate knowledge of the principals and practices of analytics
