Job summary

Worley is seeking a seasoned Lead Contracts Administrator to oversee contracts for oil & gas facilities projects. You will lead pre-award and post-award activities, draft ITT packages, and coordinate with legal, risk, tax, and accounting teams to ensure compliance and successful project outcomes.

Key qualifications include a Bachelor's degree, MRICS or equivalent, and 15+ years in oil & gas contracts, with 5+ years in lead roles. Middle East experience is preferred.

Qualifications

  • Full-time Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Degree in Science or Arts from an accredited university.
  • Chartered status (MRICS) or equivalent professional qualifications.
  • Minimum 15 years of total experience post graduate studies.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the oil & gas, refinery, or petrochemical industry.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience as a Lead Contracts Administrator or equivalent.
  • Extensive knowledge of Contractual Terms & Conditions and Commercial Contract Law.
  • Middle East experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Manages, provides advice on and administers all activities concerned with contracts for works and services associated with oil and gas facilities projects.
  • Pre-award activities including bid invitation preparation and bid evaluation.
  • Post-award activities including kick-off meetings and variation orders.
  • Drafts Invitation to Tender packages for large O&G projects and reviews client contract text.
  • Coordinate with legal, risk, tax, and accounting personnel as needed.
  • Negotiate terms within a project team to establish contract conditions.
  • Ensure documentation for change orders is properly produced and maintained.
