Job Purpose:
To oversee and optimize sales operations for both retail and B2B channels. The Sales Operations Manager ensures efficient processes, effective sales execution, and strong collaboration across departments to meet revenue and growth targets. This role is pivotal in aligning the company's sweets products with market demand while maintaining excellent service levels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage daily operations of retail outlets, including staffing, sales performance, and inventory coordination.
- Implement retail sales strategies to increase footfall, average transaction value, and customer loyalty.
- Monitor retail KPIs and analyze store-level sales data to identify growth opportunities.
- Coordinate with marketing to execute promotions, product launches, and seasonal campaigns.
- Conduct periodic store visits to ensure brand standards and operational excellence.
- Supervise B2B account management including wholesalers, distributors, corporate clients, and HORECA (hotels, restaurants, cafés).
- Lead the negotiation of key contracts and pricing structures to maintain profitability and competitiveness.
- Develop a structured sales pipeline and forecasting process to support production planning.
- Collaborate with logistics and production to ensure timely order fulfillment and customer satisfaction.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities and partnerships.
Sales Team & Process Management
- Lead, train, and develop a team of sales reps, account executives, and store managers.
- Set clear sales targets, track team performance, and conduct regular evaluations.
- Improve sales processes through CRM systems, reporting dashboards, and automation.
- Liaise with finance on credit limits, receivables, and invoicing accuracy.
- Provide regular sales performance reports to senior management with actionable insights.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (MBA is a plus).
- 5–8 years of experience in sales operations, preferably in the food or FMCG industry.
- Proven experience handling both retail and B2B sales environments.
- Strong leadership, analytical, and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in sales software/CRM and Excel-based reporting.
- Fluent in English; Arabic is an advantage.
