Job summary

GFG is seeking a motivated Sales Officer in Kuwait to drive new business in the food, catering and hospitality sectors. You will manage client relationships, coordinate tender submissions and negotiate contracts to meet targets.

Based in Kuwait with a valid driving license and access to a car, you will travel to client sites, present offers, and report progress to management. Fluency in English is required; Arabic is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must reside in Kuwait.
• Valid driving license and access to a car.
• Experience in sales, business development or marketing in food/hospitality.
• Experience with catering contracts, tenders, quotations and client follow-ups.
• Strong communication, presentation, negotiation and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to generate leads, meet sales targets and work independently.
• Proficiency in MS Office and professional email correspondence.
• Fluency in English; Arabic is an advantage.
• Knowledge of the Kuwait market preferred.
• Available to join immediately or on short notice.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new sales opportunities within the food, restaurant, catering and hospitality sectors
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and business partners
• Follow up on catering contracts, tenders, quotations and sales proposals
• Prepare and submit offers in coordination with the relevant departments
• Conduct regular client visits and follow up on leads and ongoing opportunities
• Negotiate terms and close sales in line with company policies and targets
• Monitor market trends and competitor activities
• Prepare regular sales reports and update the management team on progress and results

Requirements

• Must be currently residing in Kuwait.
• Must hold a valid driving license and have access to a personal car.
• Prven experience in sales, business development, or marketing, preferably within the food, restaurant, catering, or hospitality sector.
• Practical experience with catering contracts, tenders, quotations and client follow-ups.
• Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to generate leads, meet sales targets, and work independently.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and professional email correspondence.
• Fluency in English is required; Arabic is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of the Kuwait market is preferred.
• Availability to join immediately or within a short notice period is an advantage.
