Job Purpose

To plan, implement and direct the sales activities of the Company to achieve sales objective. He directs team’s focus, set goals, motivates, look at figures, analyze budgets, and determine ways to streamline and improve the sales process. Create and roll out effective sales strategies, including special promotions and campaigns that help drive business growth.

Scope

The position supports Management by contributing to the successful operation of the Retail Showrooms, Cooperatives and Wholesale and implementation of strategies.

Meeting Sales Goals, Negotiation, Market Demand, Sales Planning, Building Relationships, Staff Training, Managing Processes, Market Knowledge, Developing Budgets, Staffing.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and inspire a dynamic sales team across multiple areas—retail, wholesale, corporate accounts, mega markets, and digital channels—to consistently hit and surpass targets.
  • Take charge of key people processes within the sales department, from hiring and onboarding to training and team development.
  • Run regular team meetings to align on goals, share updates, and provide feedback and coaching that helps the team grow and perform at their best.
  • Manage the sales budget, keep an eye on spending, and make smart decisions to ensure resources are used effectively.
  • Track and analyse sales performance using key metrics to understand what’s working and where there’s room to improve.
  • Step in to resolve complex customer issues when needed, ensuring clients are satisfied with both our products and our service.
  • Set clear sales goals and revenue targets and support the team in reaching (and exceeding) them.
  • Stay on top of industry trends and market shifts to spot new opportunities for growth.
  • Build strong, lasting relationships with partners, clients, and internal teams to support long-term success.
Skills
  • At least 15 years of experience in the electrical sector or a closely related industry.
  • A bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business Management, or a related field. (Higher qualifications are a plus.)
  • A leader who can think strategically, communicate clearly, and bring out the best in their team.
