Job summary

WABA International Commercial Company in Kuwait is seeking a Retail Store Manager to lead store teams, drive sales, and elevate customer experiences across multiple locations. You will supervise daily operations, manage inventories, coordinate displays, and report performance to management while ensuring compliance with company standards.

This role requires strong leadership and the ability to work weekends and holidays as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or a related field.
• 4–6 years of experience in retail operations, including supervisory or managerial experience.
• Strong leadership, team-management, and problem-solving skills.
• Good understanding of sales, inventory control, visual merchandising, and customer service.
• Ability to manage multiple locations and work under pressure.
• Strong communication and reporting skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and retail/POS systems.
• Flexibility to work according to retail operating hours, including weekends and public holidays when required.

Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise daily store operations.
• Lead, train, schedule, and evaluate store employees.
• Set sales targets and monitor individual and store performance.
• Ensure high standards of customer service and handle customer concerns professionally.
• Monitor inventory levels, stock movements, replenishment, and stock accuracy.
• Coordinate product displays, visual merchandising, promotions, and in-store marketing activities.
• Ensure stores are clean, organized, and compliant with company standards.
• Control operating costs, staff attendance, overtime, and store expenses.
• Review sales reports, identify areas for improvement, and implement action plans.
• Coordinate with the Warehouse, Sales, Marketing, Finance, and HR departments.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety procedures, and mall regulations.
• Support new store openings, exhibitions, booths, and promotional events when required.
• Prepare regular operational and performance reports for management.
