Job summary

Taiba Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse (NICU) to deliver expert neonatal care, develop individualized plans, and support families through discharge. The role emphasizes collaboration with neonatologists, pediatricians, and a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced NICU environment.

The successful candidate will have NICU experience, a nursing degree, and certifications in NRP and BLS, with readiness to rotate shifts around the clock in Kuwait.

Qualifications

• Diploma, Bachelor's, or Master's Degree in Nursing with required clinical experience in NICU.
• Valid NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification in addition to BLS (Basic Life Support).
• Willingness to work rotating shifts on a 24/7 coverage basis.

Responsibilities

• Neonatal Assessment: Assess newborns' condition, monitor vitals and developmental status, and develop individualized care plans.
• NICU Management: Provide specialized care for premature, low-birth-weight, and critically ill neonates, including respiratory support, IV therapy, and feeding management.
• Family Education: Educate parents and caregivers on newborn care, feeding techniques, and home-readiness before discharge.
• Care Coordination: Partner with neonatologists, pediatricians, and multidisciplinary teams to deliver seamless, family-centered care.
• Documentation & Quality: Maintain accurate documentation while upholding quality, safety, and regulatory standards.

What you will do

You will thrive here if you have

• Diploma, Bachelor's, or Master's Degree in Nursing with a minimum of 3 years of experience for Degree holders or up to 10 years for Diploma holders in an accredited NICU.

• Valid NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification in addition to BLS (Basic Life Support)

• Willingness to work rotating shifts on a 24/7 coverage basis

• Strong clinical assessment, medication management, and family education skills
