Job summary

Taiba Hospital in Kuwait seeks an experienced Consultant of Radiology & MRI to oversee multi-modality imaging including MRI, CT, X-ray and ultrasound. You will lead reporting, protocol optimization, patient safety, and collaboration with referring clinicians.

Applicants should have MBBS or equivalent with advanced radiology training, including MRI fellowship or board certification. A strong teaching mindset and leadership ability are essential for this role.

Qualifications

• MBBS or equivalent with advanced radiology training and fellowship.
• Mentioned Master’s/ Fellowship in Radiology or higher certification.
• Formal certification in Radiology is required or preferred.

Responsibilities

• Interpret, supervise, and report X-ray, ultrasound, CT, and MRI studies including contrast-enhanced and advanced exams.
• Define and optimize imaging protocols to ensure diagnostic quality and patient comfort.
• Screen MRI suitability, manage contrast and uphold safety standards.
• Advise referring clinicians and participate in multidisciplinary meetings.
• Supervise technologists, mentor residents, and support service development and new technologies.
• Maintain documentation and ensure compliance with hospital policies.
