Job summary

A leading food production company in Kuwait seeks a QC Manager to lead quality control activities across food manufacturing. This role involves overseeing compliance with internal and external standards, mentoring staff, and collaborating with various teams to resolve quality issues. Preferred candidates have 8-15 years of relevant experience and a degree in Engineering, Food Science, or related fields.

Qualifications

  • 8–15 years of progressive experience in quality control within food manufacturing.
  • Strong knowledge of HACCP, GMP, ISO 22000.
  • Certification in Quality Management or Six Sigma is highly desirable.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and oversee all quality control activities across food manufacturing operations to ensure products meet internal and external quality standards.
  • Develop, implement, and continuously improve quality control procedures, testing methods, and inspection processes.
  • Conduct regular audits, inspections, and product evaluations to identify deviations and ensure compliance with regulatory and customer requirements.
  • Collaborate with production, engineering, and supply chain teams to resolve quality issues and drive root cause analysis and corrective actions.
  • Monitor product performance metrics and implement preventive measures to sustain consistent product quality.
  • Mentor and train quality control staff, promoting best practices in food safety, testing protocols, and continuous improvement.
  • Manage supplier quality evaluations and work with vendors to enhance material and process compliance.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Food Science, Quality Assurance, or a related field.
  • 8–15 years of progressive experience in quality control or quality assurance within food manufacturing.
