A leading engineering firm in Kuwait is seeking a Quality Assurance professional to ensure compliance with quality standards and to drive improvements within the organization. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering and at least 10 years of experience in construction. Responsibilities include developing quality plans, conducting audits, and facilitating training. This role is vital in maintaining high quality and safety standards across projects.
-To ensure Quality, Health Safety & Environmental Policies, Manuals and Procedures in place within HOTECC, and ensures continued compliance with these requirements.
-To prepare project quality plan (PQP), inspection and test plans, method statements for upcoming/tendering projects as per the tendering department requirements. To coordinate and support quality audit programs including Internal and external IMS audits. To evaluate audit findings and implement appropriate corrective actions.
-To investigate customer complaints and non-conformance issues.
-To collect, compile and analyze statistical data to identify areas for improvement.
-To report quality performance metrics and trends to the management team, including major issues which could affect business performance.
-To identify training needs and organize training interventions to meet quality standards.
-To identify, plan and implement key projects to improve quality and standards that are followed across the organization.
-To develop and co-ordinate the performance excellence/performance improvement plan. To provide management with QA status updates, feedback, and appropriate reporting on key responsibilities and objectives.
-To liaison with HR, Finance, IT, Operations etc. and other members of the organization as part of developing procedures and QA standards.
-Perform other duties as assigned by the line manager/supervisor.
