Job Summary

We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed Primary Homeroom Teacher to join our outstanding Primary School team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the academic, social, and emotional development of a class of primary‑aged students, following the British National Curriculum.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons in English, Mathematics, Science, and other foundation subjects in line with the British National Curriculum.

  • Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment where all students feel valued and motivated.

  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing regular feedback to students and parents.

  • Establish strong routines and positive classroom management strategies.

  • Foster strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues to support student development.

  • Maintain accurate records of student performance and contribute to progress reports and parent meetings.

  • Collaborate with year group and subject colleagues to share best practices and ensure curriculum consistency.

  • Participate in school-wide events, assemblies, trips, and co‑curricular activities.

  • Take part in professional development and contribute to whole school initiatives.

  • Uphold school policies and values, including safeguarding, inclusion, and behaviour management.

Candidate Requirements
  • Bachelors Degree in Education or a related subject (Masters degree preferred).

  • Recognised teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, B.Ed.).

  • Minimum 3 years of teaching experience in a British curriculum primary school.

  • Monthly Salary: TAX FREEGenerous salary, negotiable based experience/quals.

  • Accommodation:

    • Free, fully furnished single accommodation with utilities included.

    • Or Housing Allowance of KWD 150/month.

    • Teachers with families may access a 2‑bedroom apartment for KWD 90/month.

    • Facilities include gym and swimming pool.

  • Transportation:

    • Free two‑way school transport for the first 3 months.

    • Continued service available for KWD 20/month thereafter.

  • Airfare:

    • Initial joining ticket from home country.

    • Annual summer return ticket and return ticket at the end of contract.

  • Medical Insurance:

    • Government health insurance for first two years.

    • Private health insurance from year three.

  • School Fee Discounts:

    • 100% discount on tuition fees for up to two children (subject to management approval).

  • Visa Reimbursement:

    • Up to KWD 100 for visa expenses in home country (upon submission of receipts).

Working Conditions
  • Contract Length: Two years, renewable by mutual agreement.

  • Working Days: Approximately 177 teaching days per year.

  • Working Hours: 07:10 AM to 02:40 PM, Sunday to Thursday.
    Fridays and Saturdays are weekends.
