Ideal candidates have prior experience in mechanical assembly, strong attention to detail, good problem-solving and communication skills. The role involves using hand tools, performing maintenance, and ensuring compliance with regulations.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar role.
• Excellent attention to detail when fitting parts together.
• Good problem solving skills and ability to resolve issues quickly and efficiently.
• Strong communication skills, both verbally and in writing, with colleagues from diverse backgrounds.

Responsibilities

• Install/remove components from mechanical assemblies.
• Assemble components accurately, following drawings and instructions.
• Use hand tools to drill, tap, ream, file, etc.
• Troubleshoot machinery or equipment problems.
• Perform regular maintenance on machines to ensure good working order.
• Carry out safety checks on equipment before use.
• Ensure all work complies with regulations and standards set by the company or client.
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure smooth operations.
