Job summary

PPOAR in Al-Kuwait, Kuwait, seeks an experienced Petroleum Engineer to join our team. The role requires a degree in Petroleum Engineering or related field and at least two years of oil and gas industry experience, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

You will develop and maintain oil fields, design and operate production systems, analyze well data to optimize output, assess risks, and ensure regulatory compliance. Foreign nationals are welcome.

Qualifications

• Degree in Petroleum Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of oil and gas experience.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Developing new oil fields and maintaining existing ones.
• Designing, developing, deploying, operating and maintaining oil production systems.
• Analyzing data from wells to optimize production levels.
• Assessing project risks and developing risk management plans.
• Developing operational procedures for efficient operation of oil fields.
• Working with other departments such as safety, operations, geology etc.
• Advising on regulatory compliance issues related to the petroleum industry.
