Job Title: Pediatrician

Job Summary

We are looking for a qualified Pediatrician to join our team in Al-Kuwait. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing diagnosis and treatment to children from birth to adolescence. The role will involve managing the physical, mental and emotional well-being of young patients and their families.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat health conditions in infants, children and adolescents
• Consult with parents about diet, nutrition and general childcare
• Educate parents on child development issues such as safety, nutrition and hygiene
• Monitor growth and development of patients
• Prescribe medication as needed
• Monitor immunization status of patients
• Order laboratory tests or imaging studies when necessary to diagnose medical conditions
• Follow up with patients to ensure proper healing after discharge

Qualifications

• Medical degree from an accredited institution
• Valid license in Pediatrics or equivalent qualification from the Kuwait Ministry of Health
• Previous experience as a pediatrician is preferred but not essential
• Excellent communication skills with a professional demeanor
• Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently
• Fluency in Arabic is preferred but not essential
