Overview

Optometrist job vacancy in Al-Kuwait Kuwait. We are looking for an Optometrist to join our team in Al-Kuwait. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive eye care services, including eye exams, contact lens fittings and prescription of eyeglasses. The Optometrist will also be responsible for screening for various eye diseases and making referrals as needed.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive eye exams using specialized diagnostic equipment such as refractometers, lensometers, ophthalmoscopes, etc.
• Prescribe corrective lenses after conducting tests to determine the correct prescription strength.
• Diagnose and treat various ocular diseases such as glaucoma, cataracts, diabetic retinopathy, macular degeneration, etc.
• Provide patient education on proper eye care and health maintenance.
• Order necessary diagnostic tests or refer patients to specialists as needed.

Qualifications

• Valid optometry license.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in the field. We are open to considering foreign candidates with no experience.

Compensation

Salary: 1500 per month.
