The Operations Manager will oversee the day to day operations of multiple brands.
Reporting into the CEO
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement policies, procedures, and standards to ensure consistency and company high standards.
- BOH and FOH oversight.
- Recruit, train, and supervise staff.
- Staff motivation and development
- Manage rotas, labor cost
- Staff assessments
- Help develop a great company culture
- Ensure service quality and consistency
- Manage inventory and minimize wastage
- Supplier relationships and contract negotiations, ensure best quality and pricing.
- Maintain food quality through quality control procedures
- Kitchen and dining areas inspected for cleanliness and compliance with health and safety standards, ensure all compliance with local health, safety and food safety standards.
- P&L oversight, develop budgets, manage.
- Implement cost saving initiatives
- Monitor sales to ensure profitability
- Safety inspections
- Staff training on safety protocols.
- Menu development alongside chefs keeping offerings creative and in line with budget goals.
- Pricing strategy balancing profitability and client expectations.
- Implement and manage restaurant management software and point-of-sale systems to streamline operations, track sales, and manage reservations.
- Work with the marketing team to plan and execute marketing campaigns and promotions to attract and retain customers.
- Monitor customer feedback and adjust strategies accordingly
- Develop catering offering for the group. Area with great potential
- Oversight of catering and events operations
- Implement sustainable practices such as waste reduction, energy conservation, and responsible sourcing of ingredients.
- Identify areas for improvement and implement changes to enhance efficiency, service quality, and profitability.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices
- Stay informed about relevant laws and regulations
Requirements
- 8 years restaurant or f&b operations experience
- Middle East experience
- Experience managing casual and upscale casual concepts
- Already managing multi locations or brands or restaurant gm ready to step up.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Good financial acumen
- Proficiency in using operational software systems.
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field preferred
