Job summary

Confidential Company in Kuwait is seeking an experienced R&D Manager to lead development and optimization of oil field chemical products and treatment solutions in a fast-paced upstream environment.

You will oversee formulation, testing, field trials, troubleshooting and optimization, while collaborating with Sales, Production, Procurement, Supply Chain and QHSE to deliver robust, compliant chemical solutions for customers and end users.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering.
• Strong experience in oil field chemical R&D formulation and field applications.
• Proven leadership, analytical, problem-solving and customer-facing skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage R&D activities and product development initiatives.
• Develop formulate test and optimize oil field chemicals including corrosion inhibitors, scale inhibitors, demulsifiers, produced-water treatment chemicals.
• Lead laboratory testing, evaluation, validation and performance analysis.
• Conduct field trials, site testing, troubleshooting and chemical dosage optimization.
• Collaborate with customers and end users to understand technical requirements and provide solutions.
• Support management in identifying new opportunities and strengthening Kuwait upstream market competitiveness.
