Job summary

Yiaco Medical Co in Kuwait seeks a senior OB‑GYN to lead patient care, diagnose and treat referred cases, and ensure compliance with MOH regulations.

The role requires 5 years of experience with 3 years post Fellowship, valid license, and a strong commitment to teaching and documentation standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum education: PhD, Royal College, Fellowship, or Membership.
• 5 years’ experience with minimum 3 years post Fellowship/Membership in the relevant specialty.
• Valid license and registration.

Responsibilities

• Ensure implementation of the Ministry of Health regulations, the Hospital Medical Staff Bylaws, Rules and Regulations and the Department Policy and Guidelines.
• Diagnoses and treatment of patients referred to the department and run own clinic.
• Provide the highest quality of service to patients under care within hospital resources.
• Investigate, diagnose and treat medically and/or surgically all referred patients; determine need for investigations and follow up.
• Provide overall responsibility for all OB‑GYNE patients and OB‑GYNE emergencies.
• Participate in teaching programs, seminars, and promote clinical investigative work.
• Maintain the highest professional standard of documentation in line with policies and internationally accepted standards.

Job description

Roles & Responsibilities:

• 1) Ensure implementation of the Ministry of Health regulations, the Hospital Medical Staff Bylaws, Rules and Regulations and the Department Policy and Guidelines.


• 2) Diagnoses and treatment of patients referred to the department and is responsible to run his/her own clinic.


• 3) Responsible to provide the highest quality of service to the patients under his/her care within the resources provided by the hospital.


• 4) Responsible to investigate, diagnose and treat medically and/or surgically all patients referred to him /her with conditions appropriate to his specialty and will determine the need for clinical investigations appropriate to make diagnoses, and will undertake the management of the patient's condition, with appropriate follow up.


• 5) Provides overall responsibility for all OB‑GYNE patients and OB‑GYNE emergencies.


• 6) Participates in teaching programs in the Department and its sections, regular seminars, promotes clinical investigative work


• 7) Maintain the highest professional standard of documentation in line with policies and procedures and internationally accepted standards
