Job summary

NTU International A/S leads a consortium for the EU-funded project Egypt Downtown Facility. The Senior Non-Key Expert – Migration & Mobility will support technical assistance assignments related to migration governance, mobility, legal pathways, border management, and protection-related policies, while facilitating institutional cooperation and EU-Egypt dialogue on migration and mobility.

The role requires a Master’s degree, English at C1 level, Arabic language desirability, French as an asset,

Qualifications

• Master's degree in migration studies, international relations, political science, law, public policy, development studies.
• English: C1 level.
• Arabic is highly desirable.
• French is an asset.
• At least 7 years of relevant professional experience.
• Experience in migration governance, mobility, legal migration pathways, border management and/or protection-related policies.
• Experience supporting institutional cooperation, policy dialogue and coordination between public authorities and international partners.
• Good knowledge of EU migration and mobility policies and cooperation instruments.
• Experience in Egypt and/or the MENA region highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Support technical assistance assignments related to migration governance and mobility.
• Contribute to EU-Egypt dialogue on migration and mobility.
• Prepare policy analyses, assessments, strategies, background papers or recommendations.
• Assist institutional cooperation and coordination between authorities and international partners.

Senior Non-Key Expert – Migration & Mobility

NTU International A/S is leading a consortium for the proposal preparation of the EU-funded project called: Egypt Downtown Facility.

The overall objective of this assignment is to enhance the effectiveness, coherence and visibility of the Strategic and Comprehensive Partnership between the European Union and the Arab Republic of Egypt by providing rapid, flexible and high-quality technical assistance in support of jointly agreed bilateral cooperation priorities. This objective will contribute to strengthened policy dialogue, improved programme implementation and reinforced institutional capacities of Egyptian partner entities involved in EU-funded actions.

In this context, we are seeking a highly qualified Senior Non-Key Expert – Migration & Mobility to support technical assistance assignments related to migration governance, mobility, legal migration pathways, border management, protection-related policies, institutional cooperation, and EU-Egypt dialogue on migration and mobility.

Qualifications and Skills

• Master's degree in migration studies, international relations, political science, law, public policy, development studies, or a related field.
• English: C1 level.
• Arabic is highly desirable.
• French is an asset.

Professional Experience
