Title: MIDDLE SCHOOL/HIGH SCHOOL SCIENCE TEACHER

Reports to: PRINCIPAL

Primary Purpose

The American Baccalaureate School (ABS) is seeking a qualified and enthusiastic Middle/High School Science Teacher for an immediate start. The teacher will inspire students in grades 6–12 through engaging lessons, hands‑on experiments, and a strong college‑preparatory curriculum.

Responsibilities

• Teach science courses across grades 6–12.
• Plan and deliver lessons aligned with ABS curriculum and learning objectives.
• Foster curiosity, collaboration, and critical thinking in the classroom.
• Differentiate instruction to support students of varying abilities.
• Design and assess labs, projects, and assignments with timely feedback.
• Maintain accurate student progress records and communicate regularly with parents.
• Ensure safe use of laboratory equipment and conduct risk assessments for experiments.
• Participate in departmental meetings, professional development, and school initiatives.
