Overview

Merchandiser - Retail, Al-Kuwait, Kuwait

We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Merchandiser to join our retail team in Al-Kuwait, Kuwait. As a Merchandiser, you will be responsible for overseeing the visual presentation of our store and ensuring that products are displayed in an appealing and organized manner. Responsibilities

• Work closely with the store manager to develop visual merchandising strategies
• Create visually appealing displays that highlight our products and attract customers
• Regularly monitor and maintain the appearance of the store, including product placement, signage, and cleanliness
• Analyze sales data to determine which products are selling well and adjust displays accordingly
• Collaborate with the buying team to ensure that new product arrivals are promptly displayed
• Train and supervise other merchandising staff to ensure consistency in visual presentation across all stores
• Keep up-to-date with current industry trends and implement them into displays when appropriate

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Merchandiser or Visual Merchandiser in a retail setting
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to create visually appealing displays
• Strong knowledge of merchandising techniques, including color theory, space planning, and lighting
• Proficient in using design software such as Adobe Photoshop or Illustrator (preferred)
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with other team members
• Fluent in English (Arabic language skills are a plus)
• Must be able to legally work in Kuwait without requiring accommodation or visa sponsorship
