You will design mechanical systems with CAD tools, develop detailed designs, build prototypes, test them, and prepare technical reports while ensuring safety and cost considerations.

Qualifications

• Five years of mechanical engineering experience required.
• Master’s degree in mechanical engineering or related field required.
• Proficiency with CAD tools including CAD, AutoCAD, ProE and SolidWorks.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Knowledge of safety regulations in engineering processes.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
• Understanding of the product design process from concept to completion.
• Strong problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Design mechanical systems with cost, safety and reliability in mind.
• Develop detailed designs for components using CAD software such as AutoCAD/ProE.
• Develop prototypes for testing and validate designs.
• Test prototypes to ensure they meet specifications and customer needs.
• Investigate potential solutions to identified problems and document findings.
• Prepare reports detailing investigations and tests.
