Job summary

Egis Group in Kuwait is seeking a Safety Supervisor to lead comprehensive safety programs, ensure compliance with local Kuwait regulations and international standards, and foster a strong safety culture across all departments.

Responsibilities include policy development, inspections, incident investigations, training, record-keeping, and data-driven safety improvements. Strong leadership and multilingual communication are preferred.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Safety Supervisor or similar role.
• Deep knowledge of OSHA regulations and international safety practices.
• Strong skills in hazard identification, risk assessment and incident investigation.
• Ability to develop and deliver safety training programs.
• Excellent organizational and documentation abilities.
• Demonstrated leadership and effective communication.
• Experience with safety management systems and related software.
• Knowledge of Kuwait safety regulations and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain safety policies and programs.
• Conduct workplace inspections and hazard assessments.
• Investigate incidents and near-misses; document findings and actions.
• Provide safety training and onboarding for new staff; refresher sessions for existing employees.
• Maintain detailed safety records and reports; ensure regulatory compliance.
• Analyze safety data to identify trends and improvements; report to management.
• Coordinate with external auditors and regulatory bodies.
• Respond to safety concerns and emergencies; mitigate risks immediately.
• Collaborate with department heads to promote safety awareness.
• Stay updated on safety regulations and best practices; communicate updates to stakeholders.
• Organize safety meetings, toolbox talks, and awareness campaigns.
