We are looking for a Manager – Service & Maintenance (Technical Support Services) on behalf of our client, Kuwait Drilling Fluid (KDF). This is a high-impact leadership opportunity within a well-established oilfield services organization. The selected candidate will oversee key technical divisions; engineering, maintenance, and asset integrity, ensuring operational reliability, efficiency, and compliance. You will play a pivotal role in driving KDF’s preventive maintenance strategy, modernization efforts, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership

• Define and execute the Technical Support Services strategy in alignment with corporate objectives.
• Drive operational excellence through Lean and Six Sigma practices.

• Ensure systematic and compliant execution of engineering projects through strong governance.

Engineering & Technical Support

• Provide expert leadership in design, troubleshooting, and process optimization.
• Oversee installation, commissioning, and optimization of new manufacturing units.
• Ensure technical compliance and high standards in all engineering projects.

Maintenance & Reliability

• Develop and implement preventive, predictive, and reliability-centered maintenance programs.
• Lead equipment upgrades and modernization projects.
• Standardize maintenance practices to enhance uptime and cost efficiency.

Asset Integrity & Compliance

• Oversee asset integrity in accordance with API, ISO, ASME, and OSHA standards.
• Implement risk-based inspection and lifecycle management programs.
• Strengthen technical compliance, HSE assurance, and sustainability initiatives.

People & Governance

• Lead and mentor technical teams, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
• Oversee project prioritization, budgeting, and performance reporting to executive management.
• Represent the function in board-level reviews and audits.

What We’re Looking For in You?

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or related Engineering (Master’s preferred).
• Minimum 15 years’ experience in engineering, maintenance, and asset integrity management.
• At least 5 years in a senior leadership role within industrial or oilfield environments.
• Expertise in SAP EAM, Maximo, or similar asset management systems.
• Lean/Six Sigma certification (Black Belt preferred).
• Strong understanding of international standards and regulatory frameworks.
• Proven track record of leading digital and operational transformation initiatives.
