Job summary

Precision Drilling seeks an experienced IT Services Manager to lead strategic and operational IT services across its Middle East operations. You will drive reliable infrastructure, cybersecurity, vendor management, and project delivery in a global context.

Partner with regional leaders and global IT teams to implement technology solutions that enhance performance and operational excellence, while mentoring teams and managing budgets in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, operations, or technical support.
• Degree or diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365, networking, endpoint management, cybersecurity, identity and access management, and IT service management.
• Experience managing third-party vendors and telecom providers; SAP, ServiceNow, ITIL are assets.
• Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary IT contact for Middle East operations, ensuring timely resolution of incidents, service requests, and escalations.
• Manage regional IT infrastructure, networks, end-user technology, field systems, and connectivity to support reliable business operations.
• Implement and maintain cybersecurity standards, access controls, software licensing compliance, and IT governance requirements.
• Lead relationships with vendors, telecommunications providers, and service partners while overseeing IT assets, procurement, and lifecycle management.
• Partner with business leaders and global IT teams to deliver technology projects, infrastructure upgrades, budgeting initiatives, and continuous service improvements.

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU:

• Degree or diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 3+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, operations, or technical support, including experience leading teams, vendors, projects, or cross-functional initiatives
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365, networking, endpoint management, cybersecurity, identity and access management, and IT service management
• Experience managing third-party vendors and telecommunications providers; exposure to SAP, ServiceNow, ITIL, or relevant technical certifications is an asset
• Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and customer service skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and build relationships across technical and business teams
