Job summary
The American School of Kuwait in Hawally, Kuwait seeks an Immediate Lower Elementary Teacher for the 26-27 term starting Oct 1, 2026. Apply by Sep 30, 2026.
Responsibilities include creating engaging, standards-aligned lesson plans for reading, writing, math, science and social studies; differentiate instruction; assess progress; and provide timely feedback to parents.
Contract runs September through June with 180 teaching days; strong collaboration with colleagues and the Principal is expected.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in elementary education or related field.
- Strong communication, patience, creativity and organizational skills.
- Ability to adapt teaching methods for diverse learners and use educational tech.
Responsibilities
- Deliver age-appropriate lessons aligned with standards.
- Differentiate instruction to meet diverse learners.
- Assess progress with formative and summative methods.
- Collaborate with colleagues and engage with parents.
- Maintain accurate student records and reports.
