Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in logistics or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in a similar role.
• Advanced knowledge of applicable regulations for logistics management.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word).
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Manage the transport of goods from one location to another using efficient shipping methods while adhering to all applicable regulations.
• Negotiate with carriers for favorable transportation rates and ensure timely delivery of goods while minimizing costs.
• Monitor transport routes and provide regular updates on progress to stakeholders.
• Liaise with other departments such as finance and procurement to ensure that all necessary paperwork is completed accurately and on time.
• Track shipments and provide detailed reports on delivery status, issues encountered, etc., as required by customers or other stakeholders.
• Stay abreast of industry trends and developments that could affect the logistics process or supply chain operations.
