Job summary

Abroad Work is seeking an experienced Accountant in Kuwait City to manage and maintain financial records, prepare statements, and ensure compliance with accounting standards. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance from a recognized institution.
• CPA or equivalent certification preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of accounting experience.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken).
• Familiarity with Kuwaiti accounting standards is a plus.
• Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records including journal entries, ledgers, trial balance, and balance sheets.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Analyze financial data to identify trends and discrepancies, and provide recommendations for improvement.
• Monitor budgeting process and ensure adherence to budget guidelines.
• Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
• Process payroll accurately and on time.
• Assist with tax preparation and filing as needed.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
• Collaborate with other departments to provide financial data for decision making.
• Conduct periodic audits to identify potential financial risks.
• Provide support during external audits.
