Job summary

Worldteachers is seeking a dedicated Kindergarten Teacher for our client in Kuwait City to nurture young learners from foundational years. You will create engaging, age-appropriate lessons under the American Curriculum, fostering emotional, social, and academic growth while ensuring safety.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in maths or relevant field.
• Valid teaching certification (American Curriculum preferred).
• At least 2 years of experience teaching maths.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Fluency in English (Arabic language skills are an advantage).

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement engaging age-appropriate lesson plans in line with the American Curriculum.
• Foster a safe and supportive classroom environment where children can develop emotionally, socially, and academically.
• Guide and encourage children in their learning and personal growth, ensuring their well-being and safety at all times.
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing regular updates to parents.
• Collaborate with other teachers and staff to ensure a cohesive and integrated educational experience.
• Plan and participate in school events, field trips and extracurricular activities.
• Utilize creative teaching methods including hands-on activities to keep students engaged.
• Establish and maintain effective communication with parents, keeping them informed about their child’s progress and behavior.
