Job summary

PeakNet is seeking a Junior Electrical Engineer to support the design and development of electrical systems across diverse projects. You will work closely with senior engineers to create schematics, perform calculations, and ensure system functionality and efficiency.

The role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently. Fluency in English (written and verbal) is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering is required.
• 1–2 years of electrical engineering experience or equivalent internship.
• Proficiency in CAD software for schematics (AutoCAD preferred).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication.

As a Junior Electrical Engineer you will support the design and development of electrical systems for a variety of projects You will work closely with senior engineers to assist in the creation of electrical schematics designs and calculations This role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills as well as attention to detail and the ability to work independently A passion for sustainable energy solutions is preferred

Responsibilities

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
• 1-2 years of experience in electrical engineering or a related role internship or co-op experience accepted
• Strong understanding of electrical principles codes and standards
• Proficiency in CAD software for creating schematics AutoCAD preferred
• Basic knowledge of sustainable energy solutions
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Attention to detail with the ability to work independently
• Willingness to learn new technologies and techniques
• Fluent English communication skills written and verbal
• Ability to work legally in Bayan without visa sponsorship

Salary $1500 per month

Location Bayan Kenya local candidates preferred
