Candidates require a diploma in Instrumentation or 10th Standard with an Industrial Trade Certificate and respective years of experience. Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in maintenance of instrumentation equipment in Oil & Gas, Refinery, or Process Plants.
• Minimum 8 years’ experience with an Industrial Trade Certificate.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, calibration, troubleshooting, and repair of field instruments.
• Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance as per maintenance schedules.

Job Description

The Instrumentation Technician is responsible for the maintenance, calibration, troubleshooting, and repair of instrumentation and control equipment used in Oil & Gas, Refinery, and Process Plant environments. The role ensures safe, reliable, and accurate functioning of instruments critical to operations.

Experience: 5 - 9 years

Salary: USD 670 - 674/month

Location: KUWAIT CITY, Kuwait

Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, calibration, troubleshooting, and repair of field instruments such as transmitters, switches, analyzers, gauges, control valves, and PLC/DCS-related devices.
• Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance as per maintenance schedules.
• Diagnose instrumentation faults and carry out corrective actions efficiently.
• Assist in installation, commissioning, and loop-checking of instrumentation systems.
• Use proper tools, test equipment, and calibration devices as per standards.
• Maintain documentation of maintenance work, calibration records, and reports.
• Support shutdown, turnaround, and emergency instrumentation maintenance activities.
• Ensure compliance with safety procedures and permit-to-work requirements.
• Coordinate with engineers and supervisors to ensure smooth plant operations.

Mandatory Requirements

• Diploma in Instrumentation / Instrumentation & Controls / Electronics Engineering
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in maintenance (repair, troubleshooting, overhauling) of instrumentation equipment in Oil & Gas, Refinery, or Process Plant environments.

• 10th Standard + 2-Year Industrial Trade Certificate
• Minimum 8 years’ experience in maintenance (repair, troubleshooting, overhauling) of instrumentation equipment in Oil & Gas, Refinery, or Process Plants.
